Valencia CF and Villareal tied 0-0 in the first game of the semifinals. We'll have to wait until the game at Mestalla to see who goes to Goteborg for the final.

UEFA CUP SEMIFINALS
Not only is Valencia CF the leader of the Spanish League, they are also playing the semifinals of the UEFA Cup against CF Villareal (from the same region). The winner will have to play the winner of the other semifinal: Newcastle-Marseille.

Valencia to stay leader
Valencia CF plays Real Sociedad this weekend to stay in the lead of the Spanish La Liga.
Real Madrid, who visits Atletico de Madrid, is in dire need of getting the 3-points.
