Articles on Family Research Methodology

See the Special Issue: Methodology in Family Science in the Journal of Family Psychology , March 2005, Volume 19, No. 1, for useful articles on quantitative and qualitative family research methods. There are articles on survival analysis, cluster analysis, moderator effects, the actor-partner interdependence model, and more. There are also case studies in Sourcebook of Family Theory & Research, 2005.

Along with this JFP special issue, Journal of Marriage and (the) Family has had special methodology issues. I think the most recent was '95 (November issue). A little dated by now, but still a good resource.

In addition, there is a web site that accompanies the new Sourcebook of Family Theory and Research w/many good methodology resources: http://www.ncfr.org/sourcebook/
