About Me

My legal name is Doan Hieu Vo, but I am better known as Hieu. Throughout high school, my career goal had always been to become either a doctor or optometrist or some figure in the medical field. But during my senior year, I chose to enroll in a class called Personal Money Management, which then changed my mind about what I wanted to major in. I learned some pretty interesting things about stocks and bonds, mutual funds, personal investments, and that guided me to applying to the Carlson School at the U of M. Here, I plan to study finance and learning how to manage my money as well as other people's.

My hobbies are pretty simple, but I have too many to name. I would think of myself as a simple girl who does ordinary things. Aside from going to school, I also volunteer at my former high school where I have continued to be a student aide. I assist my teacher in the class and run errands. My volunteering schedule is very flexible because I can come in and leave whenever I want. When I have free time, I like to listen to music and watch Korean drama series. I really enjoy watching them because some have really realistic scenarios and they teach me how to evaulate things as well as people. That's it... for now.
