The total number of gate counts for June was 24,353. That's down from 25,629 from last year, June. I don't have any excuses that would explain the drop. Usually, I can find that we were closed an extra day or classes ended early, and that would explain the difference in numbers. All year, we've seen a pretty stable increase in gate counts per month over last year. This is the first month to defy that trend. I guess the library isn't as popular this summer compared to last year. Thanks to everyone for meticulous gate counts!
