Please Help!

Hello, all -

I was forced to do some shuffling with my class schedule and, long story short, I am no longer available to work the hours 1-4 on Wednesdays. Is there anyone out there who would want to make a permanent switch with me for the semester? I can pick up some morning hours on Tues and Thurs and/or evening/night hours during the rest of the week. There are probably also some other hours out there that I could work that I'm just not thinking of right now. Anyway, please comment here/email me if you can help, because I really need to get this class in. Thank you in advance!

cybraryN.JPGCybraryN instruction notebooks have been placed at each of the desks.

In it you will find step-by-step instructions for logging onto CybraryN Patron Manager, Registering a New Guest User, how to deal with Lost of Forgotten Guest User Cards and more!

Please check out the new notebooks.

Hey guys! I'm trying to get next Monday off so I can go to the state fair with some friends.

I work 9-2, 3-6. I definitely want 3-6 off, so I can at least get to the fair later, but I'd appreciate it if someone wanted to take the whole shift, too!

As usual, I'm up for switching. Let me know!

Hey all,

For all your success in Operation Enduring Liberty (two weeks with no shelving mistakes!), there are cookies at the Basement desk for all of you. Enjoy!

And eat them all because I don't want to bring them home.

This book truck was found on Level F last week. When doing Pick Up, please make sure that all items are shelved and counted. If you do not have time to shelve everything in the Pick Up hour, please bring the items back to the desk area, so they can be shelved later that day. We also need to know this so the schedule can be adjusted if needed. After Pick Up is done, there should not be any items left on tables or book trucks. If you have any questions, please talk to a supervisor. Thank you.

Keep up the fantastic work! Time for another treat/prize this week. Stay tuned for more details.

Hey everyone!

I'm still looking for someone to take my shift this Sunday from 12-6. I'm going to Duluth Friday night to help move my roommate home and spend time with her before she goes to London. I'd love to be able to stay all day Sunday and not drive back in the morning. I'd really appreciate it and I'd owe you big time! I can take a shift next week Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday in return.

Let me know!

We will be recording Hourly Gate Counts Sunday, August 7 - Saturday, August 13. Forms will be placed at each desk.

Thanks for your help!

You may notice some subtle changes in MNCAT today. Enhancements have occurred which will allow more complete holdings, item, and availability information to display in MNCAT, and give users the ability to request items from within the main interface.

If you have any questions about these changes or something is not working as it used to please let a supervisor know. Do practice using MNCAT to insure that you know how it is functioning now and you can help our patrons if needed.
