I am working with Dr. Bjorn Birgissona as Post-doc in the Department of Civil and Coastal Engineering at the Unviersity of Florida. The position started in mid-January. The research includes modeling cracking in asphalt pavements using a viscoelastic DD method and modeling rock softening and damage using enhanced gradient plasticity and finite element analysis.
