This week's definition: Leadership is the ability to unify others under one goal or idea, and to be able to push that group towards the goal, while promoting an energetic and positive environment, while ensuring that all members feel appreciated and useful as part of the team, and working to create cohesion among group members. They should also work to ensure that each member grows and learns and is working according to their values and doesn't feel alienated by others, allowing each member to learn mindfulness and self-awareness. Leaders must also work to understand each of his followers backgrounds / cultures if possible, this wil make it much easier to effectively coordinate with them.

Analysis: Based on my reading from the Cultural Detective's packet I now see that leaders must also be knowledgable and comfortable in many different situations, and also with many different types of people, being of various backgrounds and cultures. It is foolish to think that we won't ever encounter different groups of people throughout our lives and also our leadership endeavors, and so we must train and prepare ourselves to lead effectively in situations like this. By working to understand everyone we encounter we can become supremely efficient in leading multitudes of different groups.
