College.. and how I got here.

The Carlson School of Management. I dreamed of being admitted to this school since my sophomore year. When most high school students are trying to get acquainted with the new high school life and trying to meet new friends, I was already thinking about what I was going to do for my post secondary education. Carlson seemed like the perfect fit for me and my business mind. My extracurricular activites provided me many leadership and travel opportunities that I believe have benefited me over the past three years of my life. I was the kid who would call the university and give them scenarios about what I had done with my life up to that point and see if they thought that I would be admitted. Most of the time they would say that they couldn't give me an answer, but it was that time when they said that I would probably get in that really motivated me to do better each day. I will never forget the day that I opened up the letter that read I was admitted to the University of Minnesota. I am extremely excited about where I am at today and what lies ahead in my future. The programs at the Carlson School and the U of M appear to be endless and I plan on taking advantage of many of them to achieve the goals that I have set for the next stage of my life.
