To create this narrative you are gonna wanna have a focal point that draws the viewer in. With my design i'm taking into consideration on how we read. Left to right. Since i intend my design to be completely open and laid out i'm going to have a nice strong boarder with and start with a monumental capital. A to B to C. Also don't be afraid of having some white space in your design. it will allow the reader to calm down visually when looking at your design. Layering can create textural depth. Magazine are usually going to have a size 10 font at most and 12 leading.

Dividing the grid creates more active space for you to play around in. This chapter also covers the importance of choosing a font type and size that will benefit your design. You have to take into consideration on how the text is going to fill and color your text box. You don't want your important information to get lost in the image. With my design im having my text go across the entire pamphlet. Im going to want to choose a font that won't get cluttered inside itself. A nice clean font. san serif

A part that I found useful was where the author brings up the idea that less is more. The most successful design is where there is little design to be had. Trying to make a clear message with less is a challenging process, but i feel that that's where the most successful designs are going to come from. Message will be streamlined and clear. No unnecessary clutter. Also it's important to know and love the grid. Only then can you use it to it's full potential. In most cases you aren't going to want to put your information in the exact middle. It makes the design lots less interesting.
