Chapter 106: The Weekend That Never Was
It's very hard to blog every day.
The countdown has begun to moving day on the 14th and it's getting harder every day to stay level-headed about this move. I've been here in Minneapolis my whole life. Despite my being down in Biloxi from January to mid-April, it was living in a tent and I knew that it was on my terms more or less. Now, accepting a job through Mississippi State, finding a new place to live, and moving down south for an extended period of time is starting to be a much more stressful and scary proposal than I've imagined in the past.
Worries aside, I have had a great time hanging out with as many people as I possibly can. This weekend has definitely accomplished that in spades. Not only did I get a chance to hang out for dinner and play Kubb with Troy and Erica, but I also got to go with Molly to her high school reunion (hilarious), drop by Target and grab a bite to eat with Nick, a drink and some darts at the Chatterbox with Andy, and most unexpected of all: breakfast and a great afternoon of movies and mayhem with my Atlanta Airport acquaintance Anyeshka who was in town visiting her friend Megan here in Minneapolis. The only unfortunate thing about the entire weekend was that it blew by so quickly. With cramming so much into a couple of days it really tends to blur together.

don't be scared about coming down here. It is an adventure boo. I know the feeling, but it is not permanent. If you don't like it you can go back. Not a huge deal. Or at least that is what i tell my self. :) what is this Kubb game? are we going to be playing this down here on the coast?
Something to look forward to: the Jessie James Show!
