Chapter 197: Afternoon Adventures!
So David Perkes comes over to my desk today and says that he needs someone to go and do assessments of a couple of houses which are slated to be demolished over by the Colosseum to see if the houses or anything in them could be salvaged (i.e. doors, windows, etc.). So Ian and I head over there and are treated to one of the stranger experiences I've had on the coast.
Not only are the houses masonry and would cost a damn fortune to move, they are derelict and don't look like they've been lived in for quite some time despite the claims of our tour guides from the Colosseum staff. To put it in perspective, let's just say she tended to repeat herself a lot. I will post a couple of pictures and note her repetitiveness with each of the houses and what she had to say (we kept count after a while). Also, she came with an associate which I can only describe as the Igor to her Dr. Franken-doofus.
This house she said was "strange" 26 times...
