Chapter 205: Bunches of Brunches
Brunch seems to be the meal of choice for catching up and since I had a couple to attend while I was in town I made sure to take plenty of pictures. Here are the briefs along with a pic or two.
1. The Minnesota-Mississippi Social Club (Minnesota Chapter):The Biloxi Gang and I got together along with our Hands On Homeslice Michelle to cook some old school breakfast which included Hashbrowns, Fruit Salad, Fruit Pancakes, Muffins and Mimosas! I had a great time catching up with everyone and even got a Mark Hamburger baseball card from Michelle that her father made up for Burger Time who is a developmental player in the Twins farm clubs.
2. Maria's and Psycho Suzi's with Yesh: Technically Psycho Suzi's was a mid-afternoon rather than a mid-morning outing, but both were great as we ordered corn pancakes at Maria's (always) and then a delicious Pizza and some appetizers at Suzi's. Additionally, we made a couple of great card castles from our combined credit and ID cards. We also went over to Powderhorn Park and had a great walk while watching a bunch of kids and the ducks swimming around the pond. Here's a beautiful picture that I took of Yesh while we were lying about soaking up the sun underneath a huge Oak tree on the top fringe of the park where we almost got run over by some punk kids. *shakes fist*
