Capetown Changing Me

Capetown has definitively changed my perspective about my world view. I learned so much about what force removal can do to a certain community. To put myself in the shoes of the people who lived in district 6 was emotionally hard because they had their homes and history of community stripped from them. This stuff happens here too in our community here in St. Paul and Minneapolis. An example would be the construction of 94 people because people's homes were actually lifted up and moved. This really made me think about how our worlds are similar and the only thing different is that their in Africa and we are in America. The ideas of government are still similar to me in my perspective. I will defiantly think twice about everything and also question the truth because across the ocean people there are still dealing with the same problems its just that they have worked more with the people other then setting laws to help the people.
