Here is my final sound project. It is an attempt to draw distinctions between more organic and more industrial/technological sounds. Exploration and experience were the two focal points I wanted to hone in on for the participant. I really like the idea of putting the viewer or participant into a new world. There were no deep concepts that I connected with this project. I was more just supposed to be a pleasurable and cool experience for the viewer.
I think that the concept was somewhat blurred through the process, but feedback was given that really helped me to hone in on what I can do to accomplish my goals for the project. I played a lot with recorded sound and morphing and designing sound, and I believe I learned a lot in those respects. The presentation was hectic during the presentation, but once it all clicked, I believe it worked out wonderfully. Of course there were things I needed to work on, but I feel I accomplished a good first step towards my vision. I feel that the atmosphere of the project was present, and that is nothing to scoff at. The one thing I wished was that the voice was more emphasized with this project. So i guess I'll need to think more in those terms next time.
Here is are the background sounds for my project. They are minimal and atmospheric because they are meant to provide an atmosphere and background to the vocal sounds coming from the contact mic.
