LiDAR Basics Workshop

Wednesday, October 16, 2013 - 9:00am to 3:30pm, Wilson Library

This course introduces participants to the fundamentals of working with LiDAR data using ArcMap 10.1 software.

LiDAR data has been collected for most of the state of Minnesota and is currently being acquired and delivered for the remainder. LiDAR users are faced with specific challenges in making best-use of this robust dataset. Lecture and hands-on exercise materials will be provided for practice as well as reference documents. This course is taught by guest instructor Joel Nelson from the Department of Soil, Water, and Climate.
