Poll - We want to hear from you

1) Do you use email for work-related activities?
2) Have you ever followed up with a library patron via email?
3) Are there other reasons you have used email to get work related things done?
4) What email account have you used (U account, hotmail, etc.)?

1) Yes, I use e-mail for work, such as keeping in touch with supervisors.
2) Yes, I have followed up with library patrons with e-mail and, in some cases, phone.
3) No, I can't think of any other reasons I have had for using e-mail at work. Maybe if I had a project on the computer that I wanted to send to myself as a sort of file transfer.
4) Always the University account.

I have only used email to contact supervisors, and it's always the University email account.

1) Yes, I use email to let the boss know when I can and cannot work, and also any forseen problems that arrise. It is also helpful in finding a replacement, which is now going to become increasingly important
2) No, I have not the need for that yet
3) I haven't had to yet
4) Nothing but the U Account

I use email for work related activities only when discussing scheduling with Meg. No, I have never followed up with a patron via email. I use my u of m account for things related to the U.

1) Yes, contacting supervisors about issues questions, etc.
2)No, no patron has ever needed me to follow up with them and I have never felt the need to

I may have used my UMN email for getting substitutes.
