So I was Thinking....

Why is it that everytime I want to purchase a coffee and a doughnut, 15-20 people magically appear at Dunn Brothers? How do they always know when my craving for Organic Fair Trade Coffee is at it's most intense state, and then hop in line just as I want to calm my insatiable desire? Furthermore, when I am buying coffee, I am a focused shopper. I can't handle the chatty morning people. When I am waiting in line, I am contemplating what drink will help to kick-start my day; if I make the wrong choice, I might have a serious case of the monday's. These morning people, however, pay no attention to my critical decision. With each passing moment, I want coffee more and more, and yet I know that if I get up and leave the desk, there are going to be billions of people milling aroung Dunn Brothers cheerily talking about how great the morning is. What a Catch-22.

Weekend Time Cards ~

For those of you working the weekend shift, remember that timeliness is crucial! The library may seem sorta quiet right now and the patrons aren't breaking down the doors, but when we say the window is open from 12-5, the window must be open from 12-5.

Be sure to clock in on your time cards before you open the office and get set up. A recent survey of weekend cards has shown some very late clock-ins (one as much as 17 minutes late!).

Please don't forget that with the weekend shift comes added responsibility. We're counting on you to be prompt getting the office opened up and being available for the phone, etc.

All students please comment that you have reviewed this post.

Thank you!
