Thursday Night
Nothing new happened. I don't think we really got many patrons today.

Tonight was a sad, lonely evening. It was my last night working here until fall, and I must admit that I shed a tear or two. I would like to thank everyone for making my experience this year a fun and memorable one. You will all be dearly missed (until fall at which point I'll be returning and there will no longer be a need to miss any of you). I hope that you all find the courage and the strength to carry on without me.
Ta Ta!
Oh, and just in case anyone was wondering, nothing of note happened this evening. Same old, same old.
Peace out,
Kyle LeClaire
Here are four clues to help figure out last weeks Name that film
1. It is not a Disney film
2. It was made in the Fifties
3. involves the composer Richard Wagner
4. most people refer to it by another name

Tonight was a great night to work because of all the delicious food! Otherwise there really were not too many questions besides a large amount of people checking out reserve items. Dan and I each took an hour to go shelve on the 2nd floor and then finished up the evening with a room pickup.
Monday Night Recap...
The nightly shift went well, room pick up was done at 8:50 and all books are at proper reshelving locations.
Sunday Night Recap
Janette and I both shelved an hour upstairs, room pick up was one done twice and the shift went very smooth.
Aaron, Daryn, and I shelved for one hour upstairs. Marie shelved for 40 minutes. I did not open the info desk because it has been slow lately. Instead, I shelved in the periodical room. Everything was very quiet. Room pick-ups were done at the beginning and the end of the shift.
The desk was slow today. Brian and I both shelved on the 2nd floor for an hour. Brian also shelved bounds for half an hour and I shelved unbounds. A room pick-up was done at the beginning and at the end of the shift.
Today was a fairly slow day at the reserve desk, but I did receive several questions from patrons regarding general use of the microfilm readers. Aaron took an hour off the desk to shelve upstairs with Becky, and we finished up with a large room pickup.
Last week's film was Peter Pan. Here is this weeks:

Nightly Recap
Shift went very smooth, a few questions with M-film machines, room pick-up was performed at 8:50.
Recap of Sundays second shift...
The shift was very slow. Room pick ups were performed twice. I checked all of the leaks and one was still dripping and hitting the edge of the trash can in the back corner. I re-positioned it and cleaned up excess water on the floor. Other than that the shift went very smooth.
Sunday afternoon was slow. Daryn shelved bounds and shelfread the microfilm collection. Brent shelved unbounds and shelfread bounds. I shelfread unbounds. Jacey shelved microfilm. A room pick-up was done at the beginning of the shift.
Saturday was slow, again. We did a room pick-up at the beginning and the end of the shift. Dan shelved mfilm for 30 mins. and shelfread the unbounds for 30 mins. I shelved bounds and shelfread for 30 mins. each. There were several questions about the mfilm scanners.
Today was a normal day at the reserve desk, but I did receive several questions from patrons trying to locate periodicals that were either in storage or that we do not carry. It seemed that many of our patrons were not aware of the journals catalog to search their specified journal. Aaron and I completed a thorough room clean up at the end and I noticed that most of the leaks had actually stopped leaking.
Tonight a professor came in requesting to take a book (Brewing Justice: Fair trade coffee... by Daniel Jaffee) off reserve so that her student could take it for longer than overnight. He needed it as of tonight because he isn't usually on campus, so we told her that she could write an email to both Lois and Elena explaining the situation. We said that we could check it out to him overnight, and that the could contact you guys in the morning to change the status and avoid fees. If you have any questions about it, talk to either Brent or Janette. Otherwise everything else went well tonight.
