
Research proves we are more likely to absorb a persuasive message if a famous or attractive person is delivering the message. So hopefully you all will pay more attention to what I have to say. Additionally, messages tend to be even more persuasive if the messenger seems similar to us. Companies like Go Daddy have used this in their marketing to market their services. Very good point in this post. For example look at athletes who buy a certain gatorade or powerade because they see one of their favorite athletes drinking the same beverage. I have even witnessed people choose to eat at a certain fast food location because they see a celebrity they admire in a commercial eating at the same location.
