Congrats Trent!
Trent Kays was one of 50 PhD students selected to participate in the Summer Social Webshop at the University of Maryland, a week long workshop focused on social media, social computing, HCI, and research methods. He was the only writing studies/rhetoric person in attendance.
Trent was also selected as a Osher Lifelong Learning Scholar and will be teaching a course for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute this winter: "Social Media: Practice and Critique."
And, he was appointed to the editorial board of Hybrid Pedagogy: A Digital Journal of Teaching and Technology.
