My first reaction and feelings toward the light rail was that it was going to feel like riding a subway. I've never rode on a subway before, but after experiencing the ride on the light rail, it was what I thought riding a subway would feel like. I started at the nicollet and 5th street station and stopped by the metrodome. The light rail ride was much cleaner and more spacious than the city bus. It was also easy to ride. the ride was smooth and fast. I was always aware of my surroundings as well as the light rail itself. I've never rode the light rail before, so it was all new to me at the time.
For the three S's, I was only able to find something for somnambulism. There were a lot of large buildings that I didn't notice at all. This was probably because they were so big that when I got there I only looked at what was at eye level. The buildings were almost like they were part of the environment, like it's supposed to be there, so I wasn't really aware of them.
