Watertown-Mayer Middle School is located approximately 30 minutes southeast of the Twin Cities.
It prides itself in setting high expectations and working hard as a team to meet them for kids! Watertown-Mayer Middle School has two full-time English teaching positions available in 7th Grade.
Watertown-Mayer Middle School will be implementing a 1:1, 24/7 iPad initiative this coming fall. Interested applicants should possess the skills and/or desire to fully embrace a teaching and learning in a digital environment.
Additionally, it is important that candidates possess the ability to differentiate, especially concerning the wide range of literacy needs. The ideal candidate will possess the ability create a learning environment in which all students meet growth targets.
Qualifications: Must have or be able to attain a valid MN teaching license prior to start of 2012-13 school year.
Current or ability to attain a 2012-13 valid teaching license in English, Elementary Education, and/ or Reading is desired.
Application Instructions: On-campus interviews will be held at the U of M on Tuesday, June 26th and possibly the 28th. Candidates selected will be asked to sign up for an interview through GoldPASS.
