33-year-old woman assaulted in a Woodbury park

A 33-year-old woman was sexually assaulted when jogging in a Woodbury park around 5:30 a.m. Saturday.

According to thePioneer Press, because it was dark at the time the woman was attacked, she could only identify the attacker as a man she did not know.

As reported in the Star Tribune, the woman was treated and released at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury for physical injuries.

According to authorities, the attack seems to be an isolated incident and have not had suspicious behavior reported in the area.
