Four people killed by sniper shots in Syria

Four people were killed and 17 were injured by sniper shots from pro-government gunmen on Sunday.

That same day, TV reporters had reported that nine soldiers were killed on an ambush on armed forces.

The people killed and injured occurred when protesters gathered in Banias.

According to CNN.com, worshippers leaving a mosque in a Sunni area city were attacked by security forces early Sunday. Residents were also able to chase out seven of the forces' vehicles.

Reported in the Star Tribune, those injured preferred to be treated at a small clinic rather than the main hospital, where the security forces were in control over of.
