Interstate 94 reopened 4 a.m. Sunday after two semi trucks crashed around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
According to the Star Tribune, the two semis crashed 4 miles south of Eau Claire, killing one driver.
The driver was 48-year-old Jeffery D. Moore of Mooresville, Ind.
The other driver was identified as 42-year-old Andrey Sasin, of New York. Sasin was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Alcohol does not seem a factor but Wisconsin State Patrol say that Sasin was facing an enforcement action.
As reported in the Pioneer Press, one of the trucks burst into flames.
The cause of the crash is still unknown.
