Road Film

My favorite road film would have to be Wes Anderson's epic film, The Darjeeling Limited. Anderson created a sense of verisimilitude with his characters throughout the film, and I loved the sly motifs and off handed quirky-ness of Owen Wilson. Their journey through India is a spiritual one that covers time and space. (And the soundtrack can't be denied)
