Best Definition of a Road Film from the Readings (excerpt from the readings, give page number and author): David Laderman (Driving Visions p. 1-4)

I completely agree that the most memorable vehicle in a road film is in Thelma and Louise. I am curious why the best example of the male gaze is Girl on a Motorcycle. I suppose personal taste is the reason.
