The possible merger of two towns
New Jersey's Examiner (4,17, Meggitt) reports the community reactions to a possible merger of Allentown Borough and Upper Freehold Township, as Gov. Jon Corzine "wants smaller municipalities in the state to merge and share services to cut costs."
Some citizens argue against the governor's "fiscal fallacy" that "bigger is better, less costly and more efficient," which may not be supported by "New Jersey Politics." Additional concerns are raised about the pooling of resources -- one school district in the merger would benefit while the other would have no incentive to support such a unification.
A supporter of the merger claim that New Jersey's "multi-municipal mania" and "home rule obsession" are making the state "a high-cost place to live and nearly impossible place to retire." Nevertheless, he doesn't think that the merger would be more efficient than the extensive service sharing that is currently existing between the two towns.

Awesome blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers? I'm planning to start my own blog soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I'm completely confused .. Any ideas? Kudos!

My programmer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using Movable-type on a variety of websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard great things about blogengine.net. I blog a lot with LOTS of text so I think wordpress would be an exceptionally good choice for me. Appropriate now I am using weebly on fatcow and it sucks because fatcow (or weebly) gauges you when you never use weebly on the weebly web page itself. You pay 3.99 a month for pro features on weebly's internet site. You pay 9.95 for any month for that premium' features on fatcow after which another 2.95 a month for shopping cart functionality which is free on the weebly internet site to begin with. Plus, the fatcow weebly builder lacks a lot of features weebly's actual web page has. You pay $13/mo on fatcow's weebly and get less features than paying $4/mo on weebly's actual site.

There isn't any reason why oak furniture cannot be utilized in the bathroom. It could certainly make a great change, most especially if you choose the right types. In years gone by, bathrooms were simply a room dedicated to personal hygiene routines and sanitation, now these days they're so much more. You have totally free hallway space for a putting washer/dryer!

Life in an RV can be wonderful or frustrating, depending on what you make it. A bathroom should be an area in which you can prepare for your day ahead or unwind from the day you've had without sensation hemmed in: if your bathroom is bedlam, you might like to think about bringing some order to the space by installing fitted bathroom furniture. The modern bathroom has evolved into a place free from stress or emotion, so it is not just a place in which you fulfill your primary requirements, it's a place where you linger and pamper yourself.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

For all on the talk about voices, I do think that is what I am going to pass up probably the most now that Steve Sabol is absent. The man had a terrific, refreshing way- in the intros on NFL Films Presents plus the feature segments he narrated- of describing the sport from an outside-the-box viewpoint. I don't think it will be that tricky for NFL Films to retain the visual style that Steve Sabol shaped, but I concern that with no him they could drop the ability to take that slightly askew perspective of the video game that run-of-the-mill production companies can not or won't just take.
